# Installation

## System requirements

- macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) or Windows 10+
- 8GB+ RAM recommended

## Download

Download graph8 Desktop from [graph8.com](https://graph8.com) or use the direct download link provided in your account.

## First launch

On first launch, the app may request system permissions:

- **Accessibility** - required for desktop control features (macOS)
- **Screen Recording** - required for Radar (macOS)

## Authentication

graph8 Desktop uses PropelAuth for authentication:

1. Click **Connect** in the app
2. Your browser opens to the login/signup page
3. Log in or create your account
4. The deep link callback (`g8-desktop://auth`) automatically returns you to the app

After login, the app auto-generates an API key and connects to the WebSocket job server.
