Deals

Set up and manage deal stages that track your sales process from first contact to close.

Pipeline Stages

A pipeline is a series of stages that represent your sales process. Deals move through stages as they progress toward closing.

Viewing Stages

Go to Settings → Deals to see all stages in your pipeline, displayed in order from first to last.

Each stage shows:

  • Name — the stage label visible across the platform
  • Type — Open, Won, or Lost
  • Probability — the likelihood of closing at this stage (used in forecasting)
  • Color — visual identifier in pipeline views

Adding a Stage

  1. Click Add Stage
  2. Enter the stage name
  3. Set the stage type:
    • Open — deal is still in progress
    • Won — deal is closed-won
    • Lost — deal is closed-lost
  4. Set the probability percentage
  5. Choose a color
  6. Save

Editing a Stage

  1. Click the stage in the list
  2. Update name, type, probability, or color
  3. Save

Existing deals in the edited stage update to reflect the new settings.

Deleting a Stage

  1. Click the delete icon next to the stage
  2. Choose where to move existing deals in this stage
  3. Confirm

You cannot delete a stage without reassigning its deals.

  1. Go to Settings → Deals
  2. Find the pipeline
  3. Click Set as Default

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I move deals between pipelines?

Yes. Edit any deal and change its pipeline assignment. The deal will be placed at the first stage of the new pipeline.

What happens to reports if I change stage names?

Historical data is preserved. Reports reference the stage as it was when the deal was in that stage. Current views reflect the updated name.

How many pipelines can I create?

There’s no hard limit. Create as many as your sales process requires.

Tip: Keep pipelines simple — fewer stages with clear criteria help your team move deals forward.
