Managing Lists
Lists are how you organize prospects in graph8. Every search result you save, every CSV you upload, and every audience you build lives as a list.
Viewing Your Lists
Go to Data → Lists to see all your lists. Each list shows:
- Name — descriptive label you assigned
- Contact count — number of prospects in the list
- Created date — when the list was created
- Last updated — when contacts were last added or removed
- Owner — team member who created the list
Filtering Contacts Within a List
Once inside a list, use column filters to segment and find specific contacts:
| Filter Type | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Text search | Search by name, email, company, or title |
| Column filters | Filter any column — title contains “VP”, company size > 200, etc. |
| Sort | Sort by any column ascending or descending |
| Saved views | Save a filter combination as a reusable view |
Filters are additive — each one narrows the results further.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple contacts (or all) in a list, then click Actions to:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Add to Sequence | Enroll selected contacts in an outreach sequence |
| Move to List | Move contacts to a different list |
| Copy to List | Copy contacts to another list (keeps them in both) |
| Enrich | Run enrichment to fill in missing data |
| Update Field | Set a field value across all selected contacts (e.g., set Owner) |
| Email Verify | Run a fresh email verification pass on the selected contacts |
| Export | Download selected contacts as CSV — includes all visible columns, including custom enrichment and AI columns |
| Delete | Remove contacts from the list |
Apply to Filtered Subset
Bulk actions can target the filtered subset instead of the full list:
- Apply column filters to narrow the visible contacts
- Open Actions — you’ll see the option to apply to either Selected contacts or All filtered contacts (the full filtered set, even rows you haven’t loaded yet)
- This works for Add to Sequence, Move/Copy, Enrich, Update Field, Email Verify, Export, and Delete
This is the safe way to bulk-act on large lists — for example, “enrich all VPs at companies with 200+ employees” without manually selecting thousands of rows.
Export Behavior
- Exports include all visible columns in the grid, including custom enrichment and AI columns
- Column headers use display names (not internal field IDs)
- Hidden columns are not included in exports
Hide any columns you don’t need before exporting to control your output.
List Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Prospect lists | Standard lists built from search results or imports |
| Suppression lists | Contacts to exclude from outreach (competitors, existing customers, opt-outs) |
| Dynamic lists | Auto-updating lists based on filter criteria — contacts that match are added automatically |
Picking Lists from Dropdowns
When adding contacts to a list (from prospecting, sequencer, or workflows), the list-picker dropdown supports infinite scroll. The picker loads more lists as you scroll, so orgs with hundreds of lists no longer hit a hard cap when picking the destination.
You can also type to search — the picker filters as you type and continues paginating through matching results.
Working With Suppression Lists
Suppression lists prevent contacts from being enrolled in sequences:
- Go to Data → Lists → New List
- Set the list type to Suppression
- Add contacts manually, via import, or by filter
- When creating a sequence, select suppression lists to exclude
Deleting Lists
When you delete a list, it is removed from all selection dropdowns across the platform.
Deleted lists will no longer appear when selecting lists for actions like routing, sequencing, or filtering.
