Team
Add, remove, and manage the people in your graph8 organization.
Team Members
The Team page lists everyone in your organization with their name, email, role, and account status. Use the search bar to find members quickly in larger teams.
Each member row shows:
- Name and email — the user’s profile details
- Role — their assigned permission level (Admin, Manager, Member, or Read-Only)
- Status — Active, Invited, or Deactivated
- Last Active — when they last logged in
Inviting Users
Send an Invitation
- Go to Settings → Team
- Click Invite User
- Enter one or more email addresses (comma-separated)
- Select the role to assign
- Click Send Invitation
Invited users receive an email with a link to create their account. Invitations expire after 7 days by default.
Pending Invitations
View all outstanding invitations in the Pending tab. From here you can:
- Resend — send the invitation email again
- Cancel — revoke the invitation before it’s accepted
Seat Limits
Your plan determines how many users you can invite. Check Settings → Billing to see your current usage and available seats. You’ll see a warning when approaching your limit.
Managing Members
Change a User’s Role
- Find the user in the team list
- Click the role dropdown
- Select the new role
- Confirm the change
Role changes take effect immediately. See Roles for details on what each role can access.
Deactivate a User
Deactivating removes login access without deleting any data.
- Find the user in the team list
- Click Deactivate
- Confirm
Deactivated users:
- Cannot log in or access the platform
- Retain all their data (contacts, deals, activities)
- Can be reactivated at any time with data intact
- Free up a seat on your plan
Remove a User
Permanently removing a user deletes their account from your organization.
- Find the user in the team list
- Click Remove
- Choose how to handle their data:
- Transfer — reassign all records to another team member
- Delete — permanently remove their associated data
- Confirm
This action cannot be undone. Deactivation is recommended unless you need to permanently remove the account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bulk-invite users?
Yes. In the invite dialog, enter multiple email addresses separated by commas. All invitees will receive the same role assignment.
What happens if an invited user doesn’t accept?
The invitation expires after 7 days. You can resend it from the Pending tab, or cancel and re-invite with a different email.
Can I change the organization owner?
The current owner can transfer ownership to another Admin in Settings → Team → Transfer Ownership. This requires password confirmation.
Tip: Follow the principle of least privilege — give users only the access they need.
