Website Visitors
graph8 tracks visitors to your website and resolves them to contacts and companies. See which companies are browsing your site, which pages they’re viewing, and turn anonymous traffic into actionable signals.
How Visitor Tracking Works
graph8 uses a tracking script on your website to capture page visits, form submissions, and other engagement events. The tracking collects:
- Pages visited (URL, title, timestamp)
- Visitor location (city, country)
- Referral source
- Session duration and page count
- Form submissions and their data
Visitor data flows into graph8 in real time, so signals update as prospects browse your site.
Identifying Visitors
Known Visitors
When a visitor is already in your graph8 workspace (e.g., they clicked a link in an email sequence), their activity is automatically attributed to their contact record. Every page they visit adds to their signal score.
Company Identification
For anonymous visitors, graph8 uses IP-to-company resolution to identify which company the visitor belongs to. This means even before you know the individual, you can see that someone from a target account is actively researching your product.
Company identification shows:
- Company name and domain
- Number of anonymous visitors from that company
- Pages visited across all visitors
- First and most recent visit dates
- Geographic location
Visitor Views
People Visitors
Go to Signals → Visitors → People to see identified individual visitors. Each row shows:
- Contact name and email
- Company
- Pages visited (with timestamps)
- Location
- Source/referrer
Company Visitors
Go to Signals → Visitors → Companies to see company-level visitor data. This is especially valuable for identifying new accounts that are showing interest but haven’t filled out a form yet.
Campaign Visitors
Track which of your campaigns are driving website visits. Go to Signals → Visitors → Campaigns to see visitor engagement broken down by campaign, including:
- Which campaign pages received visits
- Visitor counts per campaign
- Conversion from visit to form submission
Enriching Visitor Lists
Turn anonymous company visitors into actionable prospect lists:
- Go to Signals → Visitors → Companies
- Filter to companies matching your ICP (size, industry, location)
- Click Enrich to fill in company details and find contacts
- Save enriched contacts to a list for outreach
This workflow lets you convert website traffic into targeted prospect lists without waiting for visitors to fill out a form.
