Mission 5: Monitor and Optimize

What you’ll learn

  • How to read the Campaign Dashboard and act on readiness scores
  • How to monitor document health and fix warnings
  • How to export deliverables for client review
  • How to track sequence performance and optimize email steps

Campaign Dashboard

  1. Open the Dashboard

Navigate to your campaign and click the Dashboard tab. This is your single-pane view of campaign health.

  2. Review the Readiness Score

The Readiness Score (0-100) reflects the overall quality of your campaign. A score below 75 means there are gaps to address. The score updates automatically as you improve documents.

  3. Check the risk assessment

Scroll to the Risk Assessment section. Each risk item tells you exactly what is wrong and what to fix — missing documents, weak proof points, incomplete persona coverage, or low content quality scores.

  4. Act on the status

    StatusAction
readyCampaign is launch-ready. Proceed to delivery.
needs_workAddress the flagged risks. Re-check after edits.
not_readyCritical gaps exist. Do not proceed until resolved.

Monitor document health

  1. View document health scores

Inside the campaign, each document shows a Health Score: good, warning, or poor. Filter the document list to surface warnings and poor scores first.

  2. Investigate warnings

Click a document with a warning status to open it. Common causes include thin content, missing sections, or messaging that drifts from the Company Profile.

  3. Fix the issue

Edit directly in Canvas or use Copilot to regenerate weak sections. For example: “Expand the proof points section with specific metrics” or “Align this with our value proposition.”

  4. Track usage and citation counts

Each document shows a Usage Count (how often it was referenced during generation) and Citation Count (Copilot references). Low-usage documents may need improvement or may not be relevant to the campaign.

Export deliverables

  1. Select documents to export

Inside the campaign, select the documents you want to share with the client. For a standard client delivery, include the Campaign Passport (summary), key email copy, and landing page content.

  2. Click Export

Click the Export button. Choose your format — typically PDF for client presentations or editable format for collaborative review.

  3. Include the Campaign Passport

The Campaign Passport is an auto-generated summary PDF that captures the campaign strategy, target personas, messaging themes, and key deliverables in a single document. Always include it in client-facing packages.

  4. Schedule the client walkthrough

Use the exported materials to structure a client walkthrough. Walk through the Campaign Passport first for strategic context, then drill into specific deliverables.

Sequence performance

  1. Open your active sequence

Navigate to Engage -> Sequences and click into your active sequence.

  2. Review step-level metrics

Each email step shows key performance indicators:

    MetricWhat It Tells You
    Open RateSubject line effectiveness
    Click RateContent and CTA relevance
    Reply RateMessage resonance and personalization
    Bounce RateContact data quality
    Unsubscribe RateAudience-message fit
  3. Identify underperforming steps

Look for steps with significantly lower open or reply rates compared to others. These are your optimization targets.

  4. Optimize weak steps

    Common fixes:

    • Low open rate — rewrite the subject line. Test a shorter, curiosity-driven alternative.
    • Low click rate — strengthen the call to action. Make the next step obvious.
    • Low reply rate — add more personalization or change the angle entirely.
    • High bounce rate — clean your contact list. Verify email addresses before re-sending.
  5. Monitor over time

Check sequence metrics daily for the first week, then weekly once performance stabilizes. Look for trends — improving reply rates across steps means your messaging is resonating.

Daily optimization checklist

Use this quick checklist each morning to stay on top of campaign health:

  • Campaign Dashboard Readiness Score is 75+
  • No documents with “poor” health status
  • Active sequences are sending without errors
  • Bounce rate is below 5%
  • No unaddressed risk items in the Dashboard
