AE Cockpit
The AE Cockpit is your daily command center. It surfaces prioritized decisions - meeting prep, at-risk deals, new leads, follow-ups - so you spend time on the actions that move pipeline, not hunting for what to do next.
How It Works
graph8 monitors your pipeline, signals, and calendar to generate decision cards. Each card represents one action you should take, ranked by urgency and deal value. Work through your queue from top to bottom.
- Go to Deals → AE Cockpit
- Review your prioritized decision queue
- For each card: Approve, Edit, Skip, or Defer
- Approved actions execute automatically
Decision Types
| Type | What It Surfaces |
|---|---|
| Meeting Prep | Upcoming meeting with briefing, agenda suggestions, and talking points |
| Post-Meeting Follow-Up | Action items from a recent meeting that need execution |
| At-Risk Deal | Deal showing warning signs - stalled pipeline, engagement drops, competitor mentions |
| New Lead | Qualified lead entering your pipeline that needs initial outreach |
| Re-engagement | Cold contact or deal that should be revived based on new signals |
| Overdue Task | Task past its due date that needs attention |
| Deal Stage Suggestion | AI recommends moving a deal to a new stage based on activity |
| Competitive Alert | Competitor activity detected on one of your accounts |
| Playbook Deviation | Your deal is not following the expected sales playbook |
| Coaching Insight | AI-generated coaching tip based on your patterns and performance |
| No Reply | Outbound-origin email, SMS, or LinkedIn thread that hasn’t received a reply past your threshold (default 7 days) |
| Intent Signal | An account or contact you own just hit a tracked intent keyword, topic, or high-intent page |
| Champion Change | A contact you own - or a contact on one of your deals - was reassigned to a new owner |
| Enrichment Win | A high-value field just got populated on a target contact or account (direct phone, executive email, headcount, funding, etc.) |
Signal Sources
Decision cards are driven by three upstream signal streams:
| Source | What It Feeds | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| LeadSignals stream | Signal-driven cards | Intent keyword hits, page visits, no-reply detection |
| LeadEvents stream | Event-driven cards | Meeting reviewed, contact owner changed, deal stage moved |
| Polled scans | Recurring sweeps (every 30 sec) | Meeting prep windows, stalled deals, overdue tasks, no-reply |
Enrichment wins are bridged from the enrichment service via a dedicated subscriber - when a high-value field (direct phone, executive email, headcount, funding, etc.) lands on a contact or account you own, the cockpit picks it up within seconds.
Each signal type has an org-level kill switch (Settings → AE Cockpit → Signals) so you can mute a noisy source without disabling the cockpit entirely. Per-org daily caps (default 50 cards per generator) protect against runaway emission.
Priority Scoring
Each decision card carries a priority score (0-100) based on five factors:
| Factor | Weight | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Time urgency | High | Meeting in 2 hours scores higher than meeting tomorrow |
| Deal value | Medium | $100K deal outranks $10K deal |
| Risk level | Medium | Deal stalled 14+ days gets priority boost |
| Signal recency | Low | Signal from 1 hour ago ranks above signal from yesterday |
| Engagement momentum | Low | Sudden 50% drop in engagement triggers alert |
Cards are sorted by score, so the most urgent and valuable actions appear first.
Working the Queue
Approve
Click Approve to accept the AI’s recommended action. The action executes automatically - an email sends, a task creates, a follow-up schedules.
Edit
Click Edit to modify the recommended action before executing. Change the email content, adjust the timing, or update the approach.
Skip
Click Skip to dismiss a card without acting. Use this when the recommendation doesn’t apply (e.g., you already handled it outside graph8).
Defer
Click Defer to push a card to later. It drops in priority and resurfaces at a more appropriate time.
Decision Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for your action |
| Approved | You approved - action executed |
| Edited | You modified and executed |
| Skipped | Dismissed without action |
| Deferred | Pushed to later |
| Auto-Executed | Executed automatically by autopilot (see below) |
| Undone | Action was reversed within the undo window |
Undo System
Every approved or auto-executed action can be undone within a 30-minute window. If you approve a follow-up email and immediately realize the timing is wrong, click Undo to reverse it before it sends.
After the 30-minute window closes, the action is final.
Autonomy Lanes
Control how much the AI does on its own for each decision type:
| Lane | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Autopilot | AI executes automatically - you review after the fact |
| Approve | AI recommends, you approve before execution |
| Off | AI does not generate this decision type |
Configure autonomy per decision type in Settings → AE Cockpit. Start with everything on Approve and move high-confidence, low-risk actions to Autopilot as you build trust.
Real-Time Updates
The cockpit refreshes automatically every 30 seconds. New decisions appear as signals arrive - meeting reminders, risk alerts, and lead notifications surface without manual refresh.
